To celebrate the 29th anniversary of the births of Betsy & our friend Aaron, their loving spouses (Josh & Masayo) planned a celebratory day that first included Okinawa's largest Eisa Festival in Okinawa City. Troups from all over the island performed traditional music & dance. Unfortunately, our camera wasn't fully charged so we only snapped a few shots:
After a clean-up session back at our apartment, our next destination involved a delicious dinner at a gem of a hidden restaurant serving delicious French cuisine named "Bistro Cyrano" in Ginowan City. We were treated to a very special dinner that included features not normally included, but Masayo knew our wonderful server & got to know the chef, so we were treated a bit extraordinarily. It was so delicious & fun! We highly recommend it, especially for special occasions like ours was!Saturday, August 23, 2008
