Dive off North Coast of Zamami-jima

This was a good warmup dive, but nothing truly spectacular(well, at least not for the Keramas) as it was a bit overcast. Still, we got some decent shots:

Slideshow of the full photo set:

And we got some video practice in too:

White sea cucumber feeding on the reef - close-up of its head/mouth area

Betsy exploring the underwater world & assuming I was taking a still shot (hence the signature Japanese pose at the end of the video)

Gorgeous sea anemone with its bluish white tentacles swaying in the water along with the large Clark's Anemonefish, a pair of Pink Anemonefish (or Skunkfish) & a whole school of Three-spot Dascyllus

2 very colorful & fast-moving Fire Dartfish hanging out near their lair in the coral nearby. The camera actually got decently near them before they shot into their hole with impressive speed.

Swimming thru a long crevasse in the reef & discovering its secrets.

A gorgeous Royal Angelfish in a crevice of the reef that really wanted nothing to do with the camera (no surprise). After he retreated, a high contrast little juvenile black damselfish with white spots entertained me for a few more seconds.

The gorgeous reef & its many colorful fish inhabitants that thrive in the clear, blue waters.
